Albuquerque to demo on rally stage

Filipe Albuquerque will take his Team Portugal A1GP car on two demonstration runs on a superspecial stage of Rally Portugal next weekend. The Portuguese racer, who lies third in the A1GP standings, will drive the Powered by Ferrari car in the Algarve Stadium on the Thursday and Sunday of the rally to promote the forthcoming A1GP round at the Algarve's Portimao circuit the following weekend. "I am very excited about the chance to drive the A1GP Powered by Ferrari car at the special stages of the Rally of Portugal," said Albuquerque. "It is the first time an A1GP driver has had the opportunity to drive the new A1GP car at a WRC event and it is great chance to give Portuguese racing fans a taster of the action that lies ahead at A1GP Algarve."
