Watts to return to A1GP at Kyalami

Team GBR have confirmed that Danny Watts will return to action for them in next weekend's Kyalami A1GP races.Watts missed last month's Taupo event due to the birth of his son, with former Champ Car driver Dan Clarke being brought in to deputise."I'm delighted to be back," said Watts. "I really didn't want to miss the last one but I wanted to be there for the birth of my son."Despite Watts taking a double podium on his series debut in China last autumn, Great Britain are currently only 10th in the championship. They missed the opening rounds at Zandvoort due to the delays in the build of A1GP's new car, then failed to score at Sepang with Watts and Taupo with Clarke."We're sort of struggling in the points department at the moment so next weekend we've got to go out and get a really good result," Watts said."A couple of podiums would be good. We'll all be putting in our best efforts as normal. It will be my first time at the track but I've been watching some on-boards from Nigel Mansell in 1992 to try to learn as much as I can before driving on it."Team boss Katie Clements reckons Great Britain still have time to regain the lost ground in the championship, with ten races remaining in the 2008/9 season."We know the team and Danny collectively have the talent and pace to be running up the front," she said."While it is true that we are not where we wanted to be at this stage of the season, there are a lot of points available over the weekend and as always we will be putting in 110 per cent effort to score as high as possible to be in the fight at the front of the championship."
