Drayson takes dominant pole

Jonny Cocker took Drayson Racing to a commanding pole position for the Mid-Ohio American Le Mans Series race.The Lola-Judd driver was unbeatable throughout the session, and generally held a margin of under a second over the competition regardless of what his rivals tried.Cocker ended on a 1m10.034s lap, which put him 0.932 seconds clear of second-placed Chris Dyson's best effort in the Dyson Lola-Mazda.Championship leader Highcroft was third with Simon Pagenaud, the team struggling for speed slightly with its qualifying set-up.Christophe Bouchut gave the Level 5 team another LMPC pole, while GT saw a Ferrari one-two with Risi's Toni Vilander and Gianmaria Bruno just ahead of the two Corvettes. Black Swan Racing's Jereon Bleekemolen led the way in the GT class again.
