Collard tops drying second practice

Rob Collard topped a British Touring Car session for the first time in 2011 in Croft's second free practice this afternoon.Tom Boardman (Special Tuning SEAT) and Honda Racing duo Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal led the way in the early damp part of the session. But all the quick times came towards the end as all the runners switched to slicks.Collard eventually set a 1m26.434s effort in his rear-wheel-drive WSR BMW, while Shedden and a committed Boardman completed the top three.Mat Jackson (Motorbase Ford Focus) and James Nash (Triple 8 Vauxhall Vectra) showed improved speed over this morning's performances by going fourth and fifth quickest respectively.Behind Andrew Jordan's Eurotech Vectra, Rob Austin was seventh in the NGTC Audi.
