Onslow-Cole rejoins Arena

British Touring Car racer Tom Onslow-Cole has joined Arena Motorsport to drive a third new-shape Ford Focus for the rest of the season.Onslow-Cole was a frontrunner with the squad last year. He started 2011 with the AmD Milltek VW Golf squad, but has now left to join Tom Chilton and Andy Neate at Arena."I'd like to thank Tom [Chilton] for securing my return this season," said Onslow-Cole. "We have been in regular touch and I know that he has been particularly persuasive in me rejoining the team. "I'm looking forward to racing with Tom again this year and helping him and Andy develop the new car to its true potential."Team boss Mike Earle believes Onslow-Cole will help the squad progress. "Tom was a fantastic asset to the team last season," he said. "We know from previous experience that Tom will provide a great deal of feedback and help us move forward as a team. We look forward to seeing all three cars move further up the standings as the season goes on." AmD, which withdrew from race three at Oulton Park yesterday after it heard Onslow-Cole was leaving, has yet to announce who will drive its Golf for the rest of the season.
