Turkington tests for WSR at Thruxton

Reigning British Touring Car champion Colin Turkington, who is yet to decide where to race this year, was one of three drivers who had a run out in West Surrey Racing's BMW 320si - the car in which he won the title - at Thruxton last Friday.Other drivers to test for WSR were Andy Neate and Renault Clio Cup runner-up Alex MacDowall.A host of British Touring Car Championship squads took to the track for the second of tyre supplier Dunlop's closed-season tests.Rob Collard was on-track in another BMW, run by Motorbase Performance, while Forster Motorsport, having now acquired the second of its ex-Mat Jackson BMWs, ran already-signed drivers Arthur Forster and Martin Depper.Matt Neal continued the development of Team Dynamics' revised Honda Civic while Tom Boardman, fresh from announcing his move to the series last week, gained valuable track time aboard his Special Tuning UK-run SEAT Leon TFSI.No times were released from the test.
