Driver Interview: Alexis Drew

Alexis ”Lex” Drew, the driver who piloted the Santa Pod ‘Drift What You Brung’ R32 Skyline had a few things to say about his first experience in the European Drift Championship after gaining his licence earlier in the year. “The driving was really good, and some of the cars are amazing,” claimed Lex, “but the craziest thing was driving Oulton Park the wrong way. That was bizarre”.

Despite it being his first event and competition with the Championship, Lex only just lost out to eventual 2nd place driver Alan McCord in their head-to-head, and impressively gave the R32 back to Santa Pod with minimal damage in preparation for gearing up for the future Rounds.
