Round 1 - Oulton Park

Our first event, after being a fan of drifting for the last 3 years its fantastic to be on the other side of the fence. Everything was a little bit new but glad to the kindness of the EDC drivers and teams we soon know where we should be and what we should be doing.

The car got mixed reviews when we arrived as I think everyone was so used to the yellow graphics from the past 2 years but once people realised it was Brett’s car we were told it was nice to see it with a fresh look.

On track their were mixed feelings as Brett was disappointed with spinning but after not being in the car for such a long time and his very first time on the new R1-R tyres I don’t think their can be any reason for disappointment.

Off the track our Toyota Hilux won the Autoglym Dub Best in Scene competition so it was nice to walk away from our first event in EDC with a bit of Silverware.
