Round 2 - KnockHill

Date published : 27 Jul 2009 - 09:42:45

Sunny Scotland, I had been told so much about Knockhill, most of it bad. Everyone that had been their before said its never nice weather and its one hell of a drive as you have to come up form Kent but after a nice 9hr drive through the night we were greeted by, oh yes fog and freezing winds on the Saturday morning, the fog was so thick you could only see 100 yards in front of you and then the heavy rain came for the practice session on the Saturday afternoon and I was starting to believe everyone’s horror stories.

Sunday came and we woke to clear blue sky’s and sunshine, things were looking up. Brett went out in practice and got in to his rhythm of clinical crisp transitions and then went on to breeze through the top 16 battle finding him up against a very in form Pete Barber. The two went at it and after 4 excellent runs Pete proved best on the day and went on to win the event over all, well done mate.

A fantastic weekend of drifting and socialising, even got sun burnt, well worth the drive.
