Former Dutch racing driver Christijan Albers has resigned as Caterham team principal with immediate effect following Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, the team said.
In a statement, the 35-year-old said he had made his decision for "private reasons".
Albers only took the post of team principal in July following a takeover of the team by a group of investors.
He will be replaced by Italian Manfredi Ravetto, who was previously Albers' deputy and general manager.
"Due to private reasons and in order to be able to spend more time with my family, I will resign from my position as CEO of the Caterham F1 team," said Albers.
"I wish the team all the best in the future."
Caterham's two drivers -- Japan's Kamui Kobayashi and Swede Marcus Ericsson -- finished 17th and 20th respectively in Sunday's race in Monza.
