Felipe Massa continued his successful competitive comeback by winning the Granja Viana 500-mile kart race on Saturday, a week after taking a heat win in his own charity event. The Ferrari star was sidelined from the second half of the 2009 F1 season by the head injuries he sustained in a violent accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix, but has been recovering steadily over recent months resuming his training regimen and sharpening his reflexes through karting. For the Granja Viana enduro, held in Cotia near Sao Paulo, Massa teamed up with Renault test driver Lucas di Grassi and stock car racer Julio Campos. The trio led the majority of the way and Massa crossed the line first after 644 laps and nearly 11 hours of racing. Friend and F1 rival Rubens Barrichello finished third.Massa won the inaugural Granja Viana back in 1997, aged 16, and devoted his latest victory to his son Feliphino, who was born last week.Together with the victory gained in Florianopolis last week this was a very important goal for me after I had dreamt about getting back onto the track for a long time, said Massa.I want to dedicate this victory to my son, it's my way to say how much I love him.
