Formula One roars back into action this weekend following its traditional summer break.

Here, Press Association Sport takes a look at the key statistics and trivia ahead of Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.

* World champion Lewis Hamilton is 19 points clear of his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg after winning the last race before the summer shutdown in Germany. At the same stage last season, he was 21 points ahead of Rosberg and sealed the title with three races to spare.

* Hamilton's victory at Hockenheim marked the 49th of his career. He is now just two victories shy of Alain Prost who is second behind Michael Schumacher (91) on the all-time wins list.

* Hamilton has turned the title race on its head by virtue of winning six of the last seven grands prix. He also became the first driver in Formula One history to taste victory four times in one calender month by winning in Austria, Silverstone, Hungary and Germany.

* In contrast, Rosberg, who at one stage was 43 points ahead of Hamilton in the championship, finished only fourth at his home race. Following his strong start to the season he has failed to finish on the podium in five of the last eight grands prix.

* Following their first double podium in more than one year at the German Grand Prix, Red Bull moved ahead of Ferrari in the constructors' championship for the first time since the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2014. The Milton Keynes based team are 14 points clear of Ferrari.

* The most successful driver at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps Circuit is Michael Schumacher with six victories. It was also at the Belgian Grand Prix where the seven-time champion made his Formula One debut for Jordan 25 years ago.

*Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen is the most successful in Belgium of the current crop of drivers with four victories to his name. Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel have both won on two occasions, but Rosberg is yet to open his winning account in Belgium.

* Sunday's race will be the 60th Belgian Grand Prix, and the 48th to be staged at Spa-Francorchamps. It is the longest track on the calendar at 4.3 miles.
