Come on Schuey...

As most will have heard, the 7 time F1 champion Michael Schumacher is in an induced coma after a skiing accident in Grenoble. This had got me thinking about my childhood, where most of it was dominated by Schumacher winning on Sundays. Regardless of whether you love him or hate him, you cant deny what he has done for the sport. He was the guy you loved to hate. Don't get me wrong, i love him, but he didn't half rub us brits up the wrong way when he thought it would be a good idea to take a certain Damon Hill out in Adelaide in 94. Regardless, Schumacher grew as a driver and we warmed to him. His greatest test was when he crashed at Stowe in 99 and broke his leg. He came back faster and arguably, stronger than ever. When he pushed Barrichello up to the top step of the podium when team orders were called, when he cried at the press conference after equalling Ayrton Sennas win record. He isn't as cold hearted as people once thought he was and now, in recent light of his accident, every F1 fan wants him to recover. We all want him to make a recovery and win this battle. Im sure i say this for everyone, pull through mate. You've given us some amazing memories good and bad. Now, give us one more!!!
