Ferrari escapes further punishment

Ferrari has escaped further punishment over the German Grand Prix team orders controversy. The FIA World Motor Sport Council met in Paris on Wednesday to decide whether to impose any further sanctions in addition to the $100,000 fine the Maranello squad received for breaching the ban on team orders when it orchestrated a lead swap between Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso at Hockenheim.
