Hulkenberg tips Williams for upsets

Nico Hulkenberg is optimistic that Williams can be the closest challenger to the four title favourite teams - and hopes to get among them on occasion. The German was buoyed by Williams' strong form in the final pre-season test last month."At Barcelona I think we were either equal to or slightly ahead of Mercedes," said Hulkenberg at Sakhir today."Obviously they get their update package here, but I think if we keep developing, keep pushing hard, keep making the right decisions, I think we have a chance to disturb the top teams."When asked his aim for his Formula 1 debut in Bahrain this weekend, Hulkenberg replied: "Definitely in qualifying to get into the top ten, and then in the race to score points."Hulkenberg has been tipped as the newcomer most likely to impress this year, but he had a blunt response when asked if being best rookie mattered to him."I'm not worried about it, in Formula BMW, Formula 3, all that 'you're rookie champion' I thought was bulls***," he said."Yeah, you are best of the new guys but I don't want to be best of the new guys, I ultimately want to be best of everyone so [being best rookie] has never meant a lot to me."He is pleased that in Rubens Barrichello he has a well-proven team-mate to compare himself to and judge the car by."We know exactly what Rubens is able to do - many times last season he was quicker than the world champion," Hulkenberg said."Whatever he does, we know that's what the car is able to do, that's why he's a good orientation point for me."He's a benchmark and also a guy to beat."
