Ian Phillips leaving Force India

Force India has announced that director of business affairs Ian Phillips will leave the team after 19 years with the Silverstone-based squad.Phillips has been responsible for sponsorship acquisition as well as negotiations with the FIA and FOM, and the signing of over 50 drivers since he joined the team when it was known as Jordan.He was also AUTOSPORT's youngest editor in 1973."The team would like to wish Ian every success in his future endeavours," said Force India in a statement.
