Formula One is back in action again this weekend as Monza plays host to the Italian Grand Prix.

Here, Press Association Sport takes a look at the key statistics and trivia ahead of the 14th round of the championship.

:: World champion Lewis Hamilton broke yet another record on Sunday after he became the first driver in Formula One history to finish on the podium, when having started 20th or lower, for a third time.

:: Nico Rosberg secured the 20th victory of his career by leading every lap of the race. It is the seventh time in which he has won in such a fashion, and his last three successes have come in that fashion.

:: Having joined Mercedes in 2010, Rosberg has claimed all 20 of his victories with the Silver Arrows. He is only the 10th driver in history to win 20 or more times with one team.

:: Rosberg's victory marked the eighth consecutive triumph for Mercedes, which is the third time Formula One's all-conquering team have completed such a feat since 2014. Their record of 10 straight wins - from Japan in 2015 to Russia earlier this year - is just one shy of McLaren's all-time record set in the 1980s.

:: Hamilton will join Juan Manuel Fangio and Ayrton Senna with a record five pole positions at Monza should he top the qualifying timesheets on Saturday. And recent history suggest pole is crucial at Monza with nine of the last 11 winners taking the chequered flag from the front of the grid.

:: Ferrari, with 18 victories, have won the Italian Grand Prix more than any other team, but a triumph on Sunday appears unlikely.

:: Fernando Alonso has stood on the podium six times at Monza - a record which is bettered only by Michael Schumacher's eight - but there is little chance the McLaren driver will add to his impressive tally this weekend.

:: Nico Hulkenberg was just one place away from claiming a first podium finish after crossing the line in fourth at the Belgian Grand Prix. Hulkenberg is fourth on the all-time list of most appearances without a podium appearance, after 107 races. Adrian Sutil holds the unwanted record having completed 128 grands prix without cracking the top three.
