2008 season: Given a poor car, Nakajima did all that could reasonably be expected of him. In fact, he did better, regularly bringing the car home when others could not. Prospects for 2009: It all depends on the FW31. Nakajima managed to bring home a pretty weak machine with encouraging regularity in 2008 and deserves a chance to show what he can do with a faster car. If Williams' technical gurus Patrick Head and Sam Michael have got it right with the new rules, then Nakajima should pick up a few more points that he did last year. If he doesn't, it is difficult to see how he will retain his drive.
