Kubica blames Sutil for first-lap tangle

Robert Kubica hit out at Adrian Sutil after the Bahrain Grand Prix saying the German should have been more careful in the first corner, and that he had cost Renault a healthy points haul.Having lined up alongside each other on row five of the grid, the pair came together just after the start when unsighted in a cloud of smoke from the back of Mark Webber's Red Bull.Unfortunately I think Webber had a problem with the oil level in the engine being very high, said Kubica, who eventually recovered to 11th.There was massive smoke, so I think Sutil just didn't lift off.He couldn't see anything and then he hit me. Unfortunately the race and the whole weekend of work got screwed by his mistake.Sutil said it had been impossible to see what was going on in amid the smoke cloud.I don't really know what happened in that corner I was driving and then there was a big cloud of smoke so I was blind going into it, he said.I touched someone and spun and that was it.Kubica was confident he was on course for plenty of points but for that incident.I think we would have easily finished in the points and quite good points, he said.Despite his frustration over the tangle with Sutil, the Pole believes Renault showed a lot of promise in the race.We did almost a complete race with one set [of tyres], which was a nice challenge, he said.We didn't have any problems with the engine temperature or the brakes, which was very important in Bahrain. It's positive for the future. We have seen we can run easily on maximum power for the whole race just in the last 10 laps I had to save fuel because I burned a lot catching the others.
