Liuzzi gets 10th after Alguersuari penalty

Force India driver Tonio Liuzzi was promoted to the final points-paying position in the Belgian Grand Prix late on Sunday afternoon after Toro Rosso's Jaime Alguersuari was punished for cutting the final chicane.The pair had been battling for 10th place after Sauber's Pedro de la Rosa dropped out of the position late on, with Alguersuari completing the race five seconds ahead of Liuzzi on the road.However, post-race the stewards investigated an incident between the pair while they had been battling for position two laps from the end on lap 42 when it appears Alguersuari cut the final Bus Stop chicane and held position.The Belgian stewards, which included former world champion Nigel Mansell, later ruled that Alguersuari had broken the rules as he left the track but rejoined gaining an advantage, adding 20s to his race time in lieu of a drive-through penalty.This demoted the Spanish youngster to 13th position and promoted Liuzzi to 10th  giving the Italian his first points finish since Canada in June.Liuzzi's Force India team-mate Adrian Sutil had already claimed fifth position.
