Danish rookie Kevin Magnussen of McLaren was handed a 20-second penalty and two penalty points on Sunday for his part in an incident in the final stages of the Belgian Grand Prix.
Race stewards investigated the incident during a furious battle in the final laps when Magnussen tangled with two-time champion Fernando Alonso of Spain and the Ferrari driver had to steer his car off circuit and across the grass.
Magnussed, who finished sixth, ended up being classified 12th in the revised final result.
