Felipe Massa has warned Ferrari's rivals that the Italian squad has got even quicker at the final test thanks to its latest upgrade package.
Ferrari has been in awe-inspiring form for much of winter testing, and although Massa did not feature at the top of the times today as he focused on long runs, he said the F10 was feeling better and better with its new updates.
"I had a very positive impression," Massa reported.
"You can feel more grip and more downforce.
"It's encouraging, because it means that we made another step ahead compared to Jerez."
Although rain affected today's test and prevented much performance work, Massa was pleased to complete another race distance - during which he set some eye-opening heavy fuel times.
"We managed to drive many miles, which is always positive, he said.
"We finished another race simulation without any problems, which helped us to better understand the tyre behaviour with different fuel loads and under different track conditions.
"I'm satisfied with today - we're working in the right direction for the start of the championship."
He will stay in the car for tomorrow's final day of winter testing, and is crossing his fingers for a totally dry day.
Let's hope the weather improves," said Massa.
"It would be important to finish the tests on a dry track to collect some more important data regarding the car under various conditions, also with less fuel on board."
