Sauber confirmed as Toyotas replacement for 2010 season

Munich-based car maker BMW, which bought an 80 per cent stake in the team in 2005, announced in July that it was pulling out of the sport at the end of the 2009 season. When Toyota declared after the final race of the year in Abu Dhabi that they were pulling out, another vacancy was created. Sauber have already reached an agreement with Ferrari to use the Italian company's engines next year.
