Schumi: I need to regain my rhythm
Michael Schumacher admitted that he still had to properly acclimatise to being back in Formula 1 after his low-key qualifying performance. The returning legend has been slightly off Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg's pace all weekend in Bahrain, and will start from seventh.Although he had been quick in testing, Schumacher pointed out that qualifying was a very different situation."I just have to get into it," said Schumacher."We have had winter testing, this is the first time in the heat, it behaves slightly differently, and I have to get the rhythm."Slowly and progressively, it has improved."It's challenging, but that's a good thing."It's just having the rhythm, fine tuning the car to you and making perfect use of what you have available."He joked that it was appropriate that he was starting seventh for his comeback having qualified in the same position for his debut F1 race nearly two decades ago."It's actually a funny situation - I mentioned at my first test that I kind of feel like I've just started Formula 1," Schumacher recalled."Doing the first lap I was a bit shocked then on the second lap I felt more comfortable."It was exactly ss it was in 1991 in a way - and in 1991 in my first qualifying I finished seventh, so here we are!"
