GPUpdateBrundle hoping for Magny-Cours turnaround27 April 2011Alex Brundle is hoping for a significant change in fortunes at the next round of the Formula 2 season in France. The son of Formula 1 driver turned BBC television commentator Martin failed to score points in the Silverstone season-opener despite respective qualifying results of fourth and third. I've never had a weekend like it!? said the 20-year-old, who returns to F2 this year following a season in British Formula 3. It was a very disappointing start to the season but I'm confident I can turn things around. I know I'm really down on points but then any driver can have a bad weekend and you never know what's going to happen in the race. I'm feeling confident about the circuits we're visiting. Magny-Cours is next up and I'm one of the few drivers in the field who has raced it before - I competed on the circuit last year in F3 and I'm certainly a fan of the track. It's going to be a difficult weekend but hopefully I can get myself on the podium and get things back on track.? Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2011 F2 season will be staged in France on 14-15 May
