Formula 2 news Dutchman Snoeks joins F219 February 2010The Netherlands' Kelvin Snoeks has been named as the second driving to be lining up on this year's Formula 2 grid, following the confirmation of Armaan Ebrahim on Thursday. Championship organisers will continue to reveal information on more competitors over the course of the next two weeks. With the new-look Formula 2 championship heading into its second season in 2010, 22-year-old Snoeks joins after a season of International Formula Master in 2009, in which he finished sixth in the Rookie Cup standings. He competed against 2009 F2 race winner Tobias Hegewald previous to that, as the pair contested the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC category, with Snoeks driving in the series in 2007 and 2008. Jos 'The Boss' Verstappen is Holland's most successful single-seater racer to date"The concept of Formula 2 is fantastic, particularly compared with some of the other series I have raced in," Kelvin commented.
