Formula 2 news Kowalska confirmed in Formula Two01 April 2010The Formula Two series has confirmed that Natalia Kowalska has joined the grid for the forthcoming season. 20-year-old Kowalska moves to the F1 feeder series after contesting the F2 winter testing programme in Valencia last December. Natalia contested six Star Mazda races in the United States during 2008, which followed a part season in both Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and Formula Renault 2.0 NEC in 2007. Kowalska has also tested both a Formula 3 and International Formula Master car. Prior to her graduation to car racing, the female racer was a multiple karting champion in her native Poland. Natalia Kowalska said: "Formula Two - just by its name you know that you're dealing with a big series! F2 was very successful in its first year and everyone I have spoken to has been really positive about it. Of course, it is a very competitive championship and it is a great package all round. I am well aware that there will be some very good drivers but I will just be focussing on my own development and performance. The car is very impressive - that kind of speed and power is something that I had never experienced before. I enjoyed it very much and I think the car suits my style, so I am looking forward to a good season."
