Jazeman Jaafar and Menasheh Idafar have both been handed grid penalties ahead of this morning's second British Formula 3 race at Paul Ricard. Both drivers were involved in a multi-car fight for eighth place during yesterday's opening race, with Carlin racer Jaafar eventually taking the spot, while T-Sport's Idafar retired with a broken exhaust.Officials have decided both drivers contravened acceptable driving standards during the race. They deemed Idafar had driven outside the track limits when trying to pass Jaafar on the run to the first chicane on lap eight, while Jaafar has been penalised for overly forceful defensive driving.Idafar, who was due to start from the penultimate grid spot anyway on account of his first race retirement, will now start race two from 20th and last on the grid, while Jaafar, who was due to start eighth on the partially reversed grid, will now start 19th.
