The Beechdean Mansell Motorsport team has announced that it will return to competitive action in Hungary in August following its Le Mans crash.Nigel Mansell damaged the Ginetta Zytek GZ09S car in a high-speed crash in the early hours of the Le Mans 24 Hours, something that forced the team to miss the next race of the Le Mans Series in Portugal. The team has assessed the damage to the car and has announced that it will be back in action for the August 22 race at the Hungaroring."I would like to thank everyone who sent messages after the accident at Le Mans and I can let everyone know I am on the mend," said Mansell. "The car was performing really well up to the end of the fourth lap but then the tyre deflated and pitched me into the barriers. "It was a big accident on one of the fastest parts of the track, I sustained concussion but I am OK. We are now looking forward to the next race in Hungary, where Leo and Greg will share the driving duties and I will return to the cockpit with my sons for the final race at Silverstone in front of the British fans."
