Anthony Davidson, Alex Wurz and Marc Gene won the second round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup with victory in the Spa 1000km race in Belgium.
The Peugeot team warmed up for the Le Mans 24 Hours, giving the French manufacturer a fifth successive win in the Belgian event.
Problems in qualifying had dropped the trio to 13th on the grid but before he had completed the first stint in the car Wurz had risen to first place.
Peugeot also took second place with the car of Stephane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny and Nicolas Minassian finishing 42 seconds behind.
But Peugeot's hopes of filling all three podium spots were dashed as Pedro Lamy got the car stuck in the gravel before co-driver Simon Pagenaud had a front suspension failure with 45 minutes to go.
Repairs were carried out but the car dropped to eighth, allowing the Audi of Allan McNish, Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen to take third.
