Date published : 17 Jun 2012 - 13:17:27

Spain's Pol Espargaro, on a Kalex, won the British Moto2 Grand Prix here on Sunday, beating home hope and teammate Scott Redding.

Another Spaniard, Suter rider Marc Marquez, took third.

Espargaro was winning for the second time this year, adding this sixth leg of the championship to his success in the Spanish GP in April.

He moves up to second in the Moto2 standings on 96 points, level with Thomas Luthi, only eighth here, and six behind leader Marquez.
