Jorge Lorenzo born 4th May 1987 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Currently racing for the Fiat Yamaha team Jorge has finished the last two seasons in 2nd place behind team mate Rossi. Jorge has won two previous championships riding an Aprilla in the 250cc class both in 2006 and 2007. An early season set back led Lorenzo to miss much of the pre season testing but in his first race came through the field to record a fabulous 2nd  place to once again to complete a team one two.
