Salaquarda returns for Monza

Filip Salaquarda will return to Formula Renault 3.5 at Monza this weekend with Pons Racing. The 26-year-old Czech, who has already committed to driving in Superleague Formula this year, will drive the car that was raced by Jean-Karl Vernay at Spa and Dominic Storey at the Aragon season opener. Pons will be the third team that Salaquarda has driven for in FR3.5 after previous stints with RC Motorsport in 2009 and at his father's ISR squad last year. Salaquarda finished 11th in last year's championship with two podium finishes. He recorded a pair of pole positions at his home race at Brno.
