Winterbottom continues pole streak

Mark Winterbottom claimed his fourth consecutive V8 Supercar pole position in the top 10 shoot-out for race one on the Townsville street course.Both Ford Performance Racing cars were in the top three, with Will Davison lining up third, and the Triple Eight Holden of championship leader Jamie Whincup splitting the pair.Whincup's team-mate Craig Lowndes completed an all-FPR/Triple Eight front two rows.The top five was rounded out by Holden Racing Team's Garth Tander, but his reigning champion team-mate James Courtney struggled in qualifying once again - not only failing to make the top 10 session, but ending up right back in 19th.Pos Driver Team/Car Time Gap 1.
