Farfus fastest in final Portimao practice

Augusto Farfus set the quickest time in the final World Touring Car free practice session at Portimao on Saturday.The pace dropped off half a second from the day's earlier session as none of the SEATs revisited their low 1m56s laps of the morning.Farfus only made a slight improvement on his earlier time, which had only been good enough for 10th, but topped the session with it this afternoon.Tom Coronel was second ahead of SEAT team-mate Michel Nykjaer, Rob Huff's Chevrolet and home favourite Tiago Monteiro's Leon.Yvan Muller and Alain Menu were sixth and seventh, with the SEATs of Gabriele Tarquini and Norbert Michelisz and the independent BMW of Colin Turkington rounding out the top 10.Andy Priaulx was 11th in the second works BMW, while this morning's pace-setters Jordi Gene and Fredy Barth were only 14th and 15th - both more than a second slower than their previous times.Pos Driver Car Time Gap Laps 1.
