Date published : 31 Jul 2010 - 13:49:57

Rob Huff claimed his first pole position of the World Touring Car season at Brno on Saturday. The Chevrolet driver hooked up his lone effort in Q2 to set a time three tenths of a second quicker than anyone else.He will be looking to convert that pole into a first victory of the year tomorrow with team-mate and championship leader Yvan Muller starting just eighth.Gabriele Tarquini will join Huff on the front row after lapping just 0.007s quicker than Colin Turkington's BMW, with Augusto Farfus just another half a tenth back in fourth.Alain Menu will share the third row with Norbert Michelisz, with the SEATs of Tom Coronel and Jordi Gene sandwiching Muller, and Michel Nyjaer completing the top 10.Andy Priaulx and Tiago Monteiro were knocked out in Q1, as neither set a quick enough time either side of a mid-session red flag caused by Fabio Fabiani's spin into the gravel.Pos Driver Car Q1 Q2 1.
