Rob Huff took advantage of the month-long break between World Touring Car Championship rounds to to race in the BTCC-supporting Ginetta G50 Cup at Thruxton over Easter weekend, and won all three races. The factory Chevrolet driver led two of the races from pole position to victory and charged through the pack in the final reverse-grid race to complete a hat-trick on his first outing at Thruxton in seven years."This is the first time I've ever won three races in a weekend so I'm absolutely delighted," said Huff. "It's been a fantastic weekend for me and I've really enjoyed driving the G50, it's a great car. I'm very pleased to have been invited down to Thruxton to race the Ginetta - a big thank you goes out to everyone involved, it's been a lot of fun."Huff will return to WTCC action for the second round of the season in Marrakech, Morocco on May 2, but he will take in another outing before then, racing his 1973 MG Roadster at Brands Hatch next weekend.
