Michelisz eyes repeat podium at Brno

Norbert Michelisz believes another podium finish is possible at this weekend's World Touring Car Championship event at Brno.Michelisz, who took a second place in front of his home crowd at the Hungaroring last time out, feels confident that the BMWs can challenge the dominant Chevrolets at the Czech track, citing the 3-series' rear-wheel drive as a key advantage.Having posted the fourth and seventh fastest times in free practice this morning, the Hungarian driver believes this advantage could produce a podium finish for the Zengo Dension team."My target is to finish one race on the podium," said Michelisz. "In terms of competitiveness, the BMW is not much less of a car than the Chevrolet is, so it's just up to the BMW drivers to get the most out of the car. I think the car is almost on the same level as the Chevrolets."Everyone is saying that this is a good circuit for the rear-wheel drive and I'm optimistic for the weekend. Before we came to the circuit, we knew the BMW would be competitive here. We were not on the limit [in free practice], but I don't think Chevrolet were on the limit either, so [the time difference] is realistic."In the second race I think if we are able to get a good strategy and get a good starting position, anything is possible. For sure, the BMW will be the fastest car on the circuit in the second half and if we can be in front of [Chevrolet] then it will be possible to stay ahead."Michelisz was adamant, however, that potential wet weather during the races could harm his chances."It would be a disaster if it's going to rain today," he said. "I think it's still possible to be in the top 10 in the rain but it's more difficult to drive a rear-wheel drive car [in the wet]. It would be a shame. I would be happy if it stays dry, and then we would have a chance for a podium."
