Turkington tops final practice

Colin Turkington celebrated his return to Brands Hatch by lapping more than three tenths quicker than anyone else in the second World Touring Car practice session.The independent BMW racer posted a best time of 1m33.564s to pull well clear of the Chevrolets of Alain Menu and Rob Huff.Tiago Monteiro was fourth quickest in the first of the SEATs, with Yvan Muller and Tom Coronel rounding out the top six.Augusto Farfus was seventh in the first of the works BMWs, with Robert Dahlgren's Volvo separating him from RBM team-mate Andy Priaulx in ninth.Reigning champion Gabriele Tarquini completed the top 10 in his diesel Leon.Caca Bueno was 15th in his second session with Chevrolet, while Tom Boardman was 17th on his WTCC return on home soil.Mehdi Bennani was black-flagged during the session for repeatedly exceeding the track limits.Pos Driver Car Time Gap 1.
