Michael Schumacher Still In Critical Condition After Ski Accident

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher remains in a critical condition in hospital today after being involved in a ski accident on Sunday morning.

Doctors say the German is "fighting for his life" in Grenoble with head injuries sustained from the accident at the resort of Meribel.

"We cannot tell you what the outcome with be yet," Doctors told a news conference on Monday morning.

Schumacher's family are now with him in hospital at his bedside.

The team of Doctors that are treating Michael say they are working "hour by hour" whilst he remains in a coma. "All we can do is wait," they added.

Schumacher, who turns 45 on 3 January, retired from F1 for a second time in 2012.

He won seven world championships and secured 91 race victories during his 19-year career.
